Neil Horman 46c8f2a78e Disable HW acceleration when running TLSProxy tests
IBM reported that, since the introduction of the ossltest provider,
several tests are failing on s390x

They are failing because MAC computation on s390x uses hardware
acceleration, which bypasses the use of the ossltest provided digests.

Because TLSProxy tests rely on the return of known consistent data
(which the ossltest provider gives us), the HW acceleration ignores this
giving us real MAC's instead, causing the test to fail.

We could write an HMAC provided algorithm to override that behavior, but
since this only occurs on s390, and only in cases in which the
TLSprovider is used, it seems simpler, and more maintainable to just
disable hw acceleration on those tests (given that we don't want to use
the accelerated path anyway).

Set the capabilities register for s390 to enforce this in the TLSProxy
code.

IO::Socket::IP is an optionally used package in our perl scripts, and a

Neil Horman ae404a9b3b Fix use of IO::Socket::IP on windows 2025
Apparently IO::Socket::IP has several odd behaviors on windows 2025,
notably indicating that AF_INET6 isn't a supported family when it
clearly is.

Follow the pattern in determinig the haveIPV6 variable in Proxy.pm, and
record if we determine IPv6 availablity with the IP class or the INET6
class and use the same method when testing port binding

Its occuring because we randomly select a port to use for our client
connection in the sslrecords test. Thats usually fine, but sometimes,
we get unlucky and pick a port thats already in use. This presents as
random failures in our CI on this test.

So lets try harden ourselves against it. When creating the client
connection, test the randomly selected port by trying to bind to it via
a call to IO::Socket::IP->new(). If that fails, try a different port
number, until we get one that works. If it works, use that port in the
assignment for the clients local port value.

erbsland-dev 80008d4a94 Refactor and Enhance Compression Field Testing
Fixes #7940: Enhances the existing test for compression methods in the ClientHello message, aligning with RFC 8446 specifications.

Refactored the test code to improve modularity and maintainability, making it easier to extend and modify in the future.

Added checks for the appropriate alerts, ensuring that `SSL_AD_ILLEGAL_PARAMETER` or `SSL_AD_DECODE_ERROR` are correctly triggered as per the RFC 8446 guidelines.

Expanded Test Coverage: Introduced additional test cases to cover scenarios involving:
- Lists of unknown compression methods
- Absence of any compression method
- Validation of a single null compression method, which should always succeed.

Matt Caswell ae937a096c Teach TLSProxy how to encrypt <= TLSv1.2 ETM records
Previously TLSProxy only knew how to "repack" messages for TLSv1.3.
Most of the handshake in <= TLSv1.2 is unencrypted so this hasn't been
too much of restriction. However we now want to modify reneg handshakes
which are encrypted so we need to add that capability.

Sam Roberts df4439186f Remove unnecessary trailing whitespace
Trim trailing whitespace. It doesn't match OpenSSL coding standards,
AFAICT, and it can cause problems with git tooling.

Trailing whitespace remains in test data and external source.

Matt Caswell 9effc496ad Add a test for correct handling of the cryptopro bug extension
This was complicated by the fact that we were using this extension for our
duplicate extension handling tests. In order to add tests for cryptopro
bug the duplicate extension handling tests needed to change first.

Andy Polyakov f3d3b36255 TLSProxy/Proxy.pm: preclude output intermix.
s_server -rev emits info output on stderr, i.e. unbufferred, which
risks intermixing with output from TLSProxy itself on non-line
