Remove depend hacks from demos/engines.
Remove clean-depend; just call makedepend (or $CC -M) and use that.

where /tmp/pl is the following three-line script:
print unless $. == 1 && m@/\* .*\.[ch] \*/@;

And then some hand-editing of other files.

Just as with the OPENSSL_malloc calls, consistently use sizeof(*ptr)
for memset and memcpy. Remove needless casts for those functions.
For memset, replace alternative forms of zero with 0.

After the finale, the "real" final part. :) Do a recursive grep with
"-B1 -w [a-zA-Z0-9_]*_free" to see if any of the preceeding lines are
an "if NULL" check that can be removed.

This removes all code surrounded by '#ifdef undef'
One case is left: memmove() replaced by open-coded for loop,
in crypto/stack/stack.c That needs further review.
Also removed a couple of instances of /* dead code */ if I saw them
while doing the main removal.

manually declare the include directory /usr/include at the same time
as the macro PROTOTYPES is defined with the value 1. Besides,
/usr/include is the standard include directory anyway, so there's no
need to specify it explicitely.
